I

$55.00

All of my garments are manufactured and printed by Los Angeles Apparel. As a Warehouse Associate I was attracted not only to the brilliance and consistency of the colors but also to the quality of the garments made just down the block. Deeply believing in the ethos of the company, I wanted to employ my employer. Now, with T0RN DII0S, I have been able to make that a reality. The item you see above is style 1807GD in the color Dolphin Blue. If you like it and want a blank, go get one. If you want to print on your own, do it. I’ll also plug the Flea Market located at 711 E 59th St, Los Angeles, CA 90001 for both unique dye options as well as the garments that are just a bit too far from top quality be sold at market rate. Saying no to exploitative labor, saying no to outsourcing labor, saying no to textile waste, saying yes to local hire, saying yes to national sourcing, and speaking up for what is right is what I believe in and what I am here to say with T0RN DII0S. If you feel uncomfortable at your place of employment, say something. If you need help, ask for it. Nothing changes if we stay silent. Document instances of discomfort and hold strong. You know what is wrong and the only way it can be made right is through acknowledgement and remediation. We are the power of the people. In strength, I see you and I see me.

Lovingly,

NB
